ACI L4-7 Logical Device
L4-7 Device == L4-7 Cluster Device == Logical Device.
This is where we inform ACI about our firewall, ADC, etc.
ACI considers service devices as part of application design. That is why we place their functions in EPG pairs or ESG pairs.
The L4-7 Device == the Cluster Device == Logical Device: the ACI logical representation of one or more Concrete Devices that perform the same Service Type.
Re-use of a L4-7 Device is possible, whether using its same Cluster interfaces or additional ones.
Where to configure the L4-7 Device#
The same GUI page is used to configure the Concrete Devices that are part of the Cluster Device. So as soon as Idefine Concrete Device Interfaces under the Create L4-7 Device page, I can say that I automatically defined the components of the Logical Device, since a Cluster Device is a collection of Concrete Devices.

Context Aware#
set this flag to Multiple if the L4-7 Device is going to be shared between tenants. In case of a load balancer, the Context Aware flag is ignored.
Check config#
To check the configuration settings of the L4-7 Device:
Once created, the L4-7 devices can be used in a Service Graph Template.
